Thanks to an agreement with the
archiepiscopal curia of Trento, the
emigration office of the Autonomous Province
of Trento carries out genealogical research
for emigrants abroad of Trentino origin making
such a request.

| In order to proceed with the request the
following information will be necessary: |
- Surname and name of the ancestor who
emigrated and for whom the certificate
is being requested;
- Commune of birth, marriage or death of
the ancestor who emigrated (according to
the certificate requested)
- Date of birth, marriage or death of
the ancestor who emigrated (according to
the certificate requested)
- Address of the person making the
request, in order to forward the results
of the research (please send full and
clearly written address, preferably in
block capitals).

The time necessary for the research is
never less than three months.
Precedence will be
given to requests for certificates which
have the scope of acquiring Italian
citizenship. |
