HOW TO OBTAIN RECOGNITION
IN ITALY FOR EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AWARDED ABROAD

This information applies to
those who have transferred their place of residency to Italy
from a country abroad and is limited to recognition of
educational qualifications corresponding with the qualifications
awarded by Italian primary and middle schools (compulsory
schooling) and secondary schools (which in Italy allow access to
University education).
The following persons may
request equivalence for foreign qualifications:
- Italian workers abroad and their relatives;
those who
have obtained Italian citizenship by marriage;
those who have obtained Italian citizenship
by naturalisation.
